did they kill the servers for t2 so that people will have to play T:V, or, whats going on

So you guys dont really know if they killed t2 or is it a hacker or a problem? Personaly i think t2 is one of the greatest games ive played.

Looks guys... I'm sure Dynamix would of said something to someone if they were gonna drop the master server for T2! So everyone just chill the heck out huh? HELL... Tribes 1 is still up and running and many ppl still are playing that game.

They are probably making adjustments or something. There are just way to many ppl yet who plays T2 for them to wipe it out completely. There are also still many leagues who have T2 matches scheduled.

So take a DEEP breathe and give it 24 hours before u actually need to worry!!!

even if they didn't kill it it will still take days for them to notice that it's not up. those people at sierra don't give a damn, and I know it may seem cliche to say that about a company but they really don't care about Tribes 2. No one does.

Real version of tribes? Tribes 1 and Tribes 2 are the real versions. Just because a game comes out with "Tribes" labeled on, it certainly doesn't mean it's in the same catagory at all. This especially goes for Tribes Vengeance!

T:V is a generic copy of both the originals. Like I said GENERIC! Just like generic food. It looks almost the same, it almost tastes the same and it almost smells the same way BUT... IT'S NOT THE SAME!!!

To much of the "Unreal" engines and idea's are mixed with the game. The maps are way to small, the weapons shoot to slow, so far its a huge pain in the rear end.

The old Dynamix crew from Tribes1 and 2 needs to get back together and start working on a version 4 with all the great idea's they had for this series.

The ONLY idea I like about T:V is that its gonna have a story line explaining what brought about the Tribe war in single player. Otherwise multiplayer.... so far bite! : (

I never said T:V was a real version of tribes. There are plenty of people who still play T1 late nights.
