Yes, agreed. But that's my assessment after only 20minutes of playing. I'm going to try to play some more tonight.

The server browser is ass.

I need to hook up my damn joystick. Is there a way to switch from 1st person to 3rd person in game because when I'm trying to fly the damn planes it becomes a pain in the ass to maneuver.

Also, make sure to set up your keys for vehicles too. I set up my controls for a person as ESDF, but my vehicle controls were set to WASD - with E as enter/exit the vehicle. So as soon as I exited the vehicle and tried to move forward, I'd exit.

im buying it tonite also, looks badass

looks alot like T2 or TV...vehicles look awesome...heard the first few levels are fun but they also said it goes downhill from there....

SP sure as hell doesn't matter to me ;o

Yeah I figured out that q last night lol.

Whats sad is that most of the threads here on the front page of these T2 forums, have been here for days, and a few for weeks...

What's so sad about it? We have a new Tribes game to play and obviously people are playing it.

Whats sadder is the Vengeance forums have dropped in activity too....

SW:BF is a good game. Server code needs to be patched. There is alot of lag as of now and the gamespy browser system can rot in hell.

Game itself is pretty fun tho (there are even JETPACKS!)


PS: for the first time ever, the base and classic forums have the same amount of activity..

I haven't tried the GaySpy browser yet, but the in-game SWB browser is total ass. I really don't see how GaySpy browser could be any worse than that and still be functional.
