Control Panel>Folder Options> File Types change association to windows media or whatever you want. Go to start menu>startup delete and real media icons. Go to run type msconfig go to startup uncheck everything to do with real media. Never run the realmedia.exe ever again or it'll reverse all of that stuff. RM products are a virus.

Yeah, uninstalling RealMedia products probably gives you a 10 frame boost because its not ULing everything you know about yourself and making itself the default media player 24/7
