B) If any money being spent on prizes went to better servers, we'd all go "yay!"

Goaks is a T2 nazi... Hitler + Bill Gates = Goaks = bad combo... He fucked up Tribes-Universe, it was a respectable community which HypnOtik worked his ass off for... Well, it's shit now and MrWaterMonkey has already put up a site as good, if not better than Tribe-Universe in Tribes2.org.
Tribes2.org is better than Tribes-Universe, the EGA put on tournies and are already past PNet, Tribes2.org also has it's own shoutcast network that has already surpassed PWR...

Guys, I didn't mean for things to turn out the way they did. I was having a paticuarally bad night. I hope those of you that played. Will hold it against me and me only. and not PNet Goaks, or any Staff. What happened was my fault. and I'd like to make it up to you guys. PNet's done a fine job of comp mod every night except for this one and that was MY fault not anyone else's.

The answer to this is simple.. someone needs to cough up a good west coast server so we arent subjected to such garbage. Prizes have never impressed me, I can buy my own toys, thanks.
HomeLAN is too busy w/ americas army to even take notice, and our server at Stanford and soon UC-Davis are dedicated to our SoF2 squad (sorry).
I still remember clearly how n00bified the original PNET pickups where, and it sounds like its even worse now. (did they really interrupt the game to promote themselves? - omfg lame) I'm sure that if there was a way to code it in, they would have pop up ads in game. (that wasnt a suggestion - blow it out your ass you money grubbing fuckholes).
The way to show your displeasure is to NOT SUPPORT it, boycott the bullshit, dont attend festival of faggotry pickups and tell all your friends to do the same.
Now heres the hard part, there needs to be an alternative. If any one organization has a monopoly on a product, then the consumer (us) suffers. Competition is healthy and will benefit everyone in the long run.
So whos gonna pony up a fat server? Why isnt LAX compmod yet? Whos got the hookup on server hosting? Whos gonna take the time to configure, admin and operate these servers?
To do nothing but bitch is to admit defeat. Enjoy the experience.
