What kind of FPS do you get on that comp?
hmm, really depends, 60-70 no action, full action aka 4 shrikes and cappers, mortars etc, it drops to maybe 30 max?

Athlon XP 1600+
256 mb PC2100 Micron DDR (1 stick)
MSI KT7 Pro2a (266mhz)
SB Live X Gamer
GeForce 4 Ti4400 128mb

FPS: 60-100 FPS (after a fresh reboot)
1024X768X32 Full settings

Athlon XP1900+
512mb PC2100 DDR
Gainward Gf4 Ti4200 128mb Golden Sample
60+fps during intense flag scrums, 100+ otherwise

It sure beats the TNT2 on a 900mhz Thunderbird I was using a couple months ago.

edit: Important texture and graphic settings maxed although one strike against me is that I play 800x600 res on a 17" ViewSonic. I'm blind as a bat so I need big targets, still doesn't help much

This is a good thread. I kind of get a feel for what to expect with the new setup I'm slowly putting together.

I have:
1ghz Tbird @133
Asus A7V133a
512 ram
GF3 Ti200 o/c past Ti500
30/60 gig HD 7200
SB Live 5.1 with LiveDrive (for music recording)
Firewire for DV

My machine isn't that stable but I get about 40-60 FPS except on certain maps. If someone spawns a Havoc on Rollercoaster...forgetaboutit.

I've ordered an XP2000 a PC2700 Mobo/ram. Waiting patiently.
1 GHz AMD Thunderbird
256mb 133sdram
GF4 Ti4200
soundblaster Live
Asus GA-7ZX mobo, honestly- i have no friggen clue what that is
20gig HD @ 7,200 rpm
17" optiquest monitor
52x DVD-ROM drive
win xp pro

With full detail on everything @ 1024x768 I get:

60-120 fps with little to no action
40-50 fps with heavy action

FPS usually never dips below 40, but on rare occasions while playing compmod it will hit zero and stay that way for up to a minute at a time...

otherwise its great.

and all you case modders are l33t. i gotta try that sometime.
