UEs

Ok,I get fuckloads of UE's, i dont mean 1 a day, i mean every other game i join i get one instantly when it has finished loading, and on maps like great day i always get them.
This is very,very lame.
It means i can barely play T2.
Help?

I've reinstalled it about 10 times and i still gettem.

don't press alt-spacebar. Automatic UE :/

It has to be a script you are using or buttons you are pressing like mentioned above to be having an issue like this.

I never press alt+spacebar

On your next re-install, use the T2 first aid program immediately after (before patching). Make sure you have DirectX8.1 (a?), and the latest video drivers for your video card. I used to get them all the time, but hardly ever get them anymore ( I only use PJ's spew for scripts... had to turn of superstats cuz it caused them too...)

I've heard that using a different audio driver (instead of the default Miles) may help with UE's.

Try EAX or EAX2

go here and get Adaware to check your PC for spyware, these invasive little programs running in the background can often be the cause of UE's, I had over 100 the first time I ran it, and now that I use it often, I very, very rarely get UE's

i hear ya man all i do is UE now too ive reformatted 10 times in the past 3 weeks updated drivers, havent updated drivers, only installed T2 on my machine, doesnt matter i UE constantly hell i just UE'd on duel server i hope this new patch fixes this bullshit. i dont understand why the whole UE thing was put into to T2 all i know is i have absolutly no trouble running jk2 ,sof2 ,mohaa and neverwinter. i benchd marked my systm on the new 3dmark2001se and i get over 10,000 points so i know my system is fine

I just defragmented my HD, and did the Adware thing & removed spyware, im trying it now, wish me luck!

Also go to the network tab and uncheck "check email while playing" and check the "disconnect from chat"

With the community down your game on mission load is trying to check your tmail...that is down...this may be giving you ue's as it cannot pop up that "we suck try again later" box.

I haven't been UE'ing lately but I can't seem to connect to irc. Can't find buddies, chat, browser, etc. Tell's me to waite one moment and tru again. Whats up with this? Help!!!

If you're using Win XP run Tribes in compatibility mode with Win 98. That's what fixed it for me.

Nah, it's been happening for a few weeks. Before if I just tried a couple of time to connect, like after a game or something it would usually be connected to irc after I was done playing. Now it never connects. What's been going on?
