Email Sent to All Teams 10/13/08 - 9:25 AM Eastern

The following was emailed to ALL team captains:

Notice to all teams,

Last night I posted an announcement that week 1 of the NA League would be delayed another week. The primary reason for this delay was due to CDC and the AGP's Deploy Client not being operational (CDC would only work on the full version which was not available as of last night).

Early this morning issues with CDC were resolved and it is now fully functional on the patched version of the game. This patched version is available from multiple sources outside of the Deploy Client.

Please try to make every effort to play your week one matches tonight, October 13th. While I can not reverse the delay announcement at such a last minute time we can schedule week 2 matches for next week if most teams play their week one matches by tomorrow night.

On a side note please make sure your email address listed in your TWL profile is VALID. I am tired of getting 50+ bounced emails in my inbox when I try to send out notification emails to people. This is a big reason why we don't send last minute info by email all that often.

I am half tempted to start disabling accounts with invalid email address and only reactivate them once a valid email address is provided.

Not sure if it was mentioned... but seems there is a TWL script to add to all the servers guys... a Temporary fix but a fix none the less... dont forget that also.

thats part of being a league admin.. dealing with peoples shit..

on a side note: my emails legit, im a team captain and I never received an email.. maybe its ur mass e-mail functionality on the site.. just a thought

Same problem my husband is a team captain with a valid e-mail address and he didn't get the e-mail from you either. I just happened to log on this forum this morning and saw this post.

Yep, my email is legit and I didn't get a notice.

jesterss, if you don't recall, you said you aren't playing in this league, so you aren't a team captain in the league roster...

You need to make sure to add @teamwarfare.com to your safe list with your email client or make sure to check the spam folder.

Some clients will randomly mark it as spam

im actually not even on the roster..

but: theyve emailed us before and i hadnt got them then either.. so, thats why i said that

I'm pretty sure it was only team founders who will receive the emails from the TWL mass emailer system.

No it is captains as well.
