Unlike last season I intend to keep the rule in place that the top 4 teams from each division make the playoffs.

The main alternative to this would be to let the top 8 teams in to have the same # of playoff rounds as open. The downside to that would be letting in just about every team and minimizing the importance of the regular season.

There is another alternative to the top 4 teams system that I will consider if a majority of the inter teams prefer it.

- Top 2 teams from each division are automatically in.
- Seeds 3, 4, 5, and 6 face off in a play in round for the final 2 slots.

On a side note I prefer just sticking to the top 4 are in but will throw it out for discussion anyways since this is your league and I am just here to guide the ship.

while the current 4 in works, the Seed idea would allow more teams to remain competitive and prolong the fun aspect of the competition to some teams, it would also give teams that were having a bad run another shot at the finals. at the same time this league isn't exclusively about fun, there is the competitive goal element to it.

my vote would be to leave it as is.

If I were to let ALL teams into the playoffs what would be the point of even bothering to have a regular season? Might as well just have a single elimination tournament and be over with it in that case.

Also, there was not enough support to make changes to the current playoff format. We will be sticking with the top 4 from each division are in format. This can obviously be revisited during the offseason for future seasons.
