Will they be in the invites next 4v4?? cause they deserve to be.
If they sign up for the 4v4 league, they have a 100% chance of being in the invites. I must say, this is an odd question to ask. I have seen nothing that would say anything otherwise.
Well inno took a year off and they seem to be in the inters...
I don't think ENE has taken a year off in the 4v4 though. they competed this year. I don't think they are playing the 6v6 becasue they are pretty tied up with other leagues/ladders atm. And I don't think the 4v4 has anything to do with the 6v6, or vice versa.
well inno took the last 4v4 invites off... then when 6v6 rolls around they are in the inters
That is because we relied heavily on the 4v4 League for placements since it has been a very very long time since the 6v6 was ran last. And yes if ENE sign ups for the next 4v4 League they will be in the Invites. Normally we would use the last 6v6 league for placements in the 6v6 league but it was simply too long ago.

That is also why in the 4v4 we had the "known" or "obvious" invite teams pick the remaining ones, as simply useing the last 4v4 league was somewhat pointless due to the time between the leagues.

yeh we have a big year with exams and other competitions etc so fielding 6 for the NA team may be a stuggle.

next season invites will be 12 to 16 teams. so say the 12 teams from this season are still around (i know it is unlikely but it could happen). the top 4 teams from inters are in. so where does that leave an opening?

i also have a hard time giving a spot to a team that is not playing currently which is why it states this in the rules:

"Invitational Leagues
1. Team must have participated in the immediate past Invitational or Intermediate League"

Well we just competed in the immediate past invitational 4v4. We wont be doing the 6v6 cause of the time is takes to create and prep strats since they differ so much from 4v4.

Come next 4v4 we will be signing up, if the admins place us in another division then invite that is their choice. I wont complain, and i'm not going to worry about it til then. The NA team will be back for the next 4v4 league. 6v6 just doesn't interest us.

I wish all the teams competiting in the 6v6 league the best of luck especially our ENE AA EU team.

We ( me, dez, traf ) only play ladders if we have to and only when not enough people sign up but we got more then 3 "solid" people its that those 3 you speak of including me have no interest in playing or preping for 6v6 and we dont have 6 other people who can field a weekly roster.

As for our match, your still crying about that? make more news on your site about me and leave it out of these forums kthnx.

General you have said in the past that you are trying to expand the competitive community and get aa to become more popular. If this is the case do you feel that no participating in the 6v6 leagues will help or hurt the aa community? I only ask this because you had a real problem when oR decided not to do declined to do videocasts and shoutcasts because you said that videocasts are a good tool to expand the community. The 6v6 does not interest you and the videocasts do not interest us, yet I dont see anyone trying to force you to play in the 6v6's but I do see you trying to force people to do videocasts.

Sorry but the mainsteam competitive format in AA is 4v4. 6v6 will never be mainsteam in AA for high end competitions and simply we dont have the time to do it. There is only one place I WILL force people to do casts. Any other site it's their admins choice but i expect others will follow suit cause of the massive amount of benefits to it.....

Since this is getting way off topic i'll leave it with again....

I wish all the teams competiting in the 6v6 league the best of luck. See you in the leagues next and every 4v4 season for many moons to come....

6v6 is really not that far behind 4v4. Just because you don't want to play it doesn't mean it's not "mainstream". Btw, obviously tarf wants to play the 6v6 league, since he's on redux's roster.

The first ever league held for AA was 6v6 format, even if TWL is the only league to offer it. 1.6 and Source run 5v5, so i don't think adding one to two more players is a bad thing, especially when you consider how big some of the maps are. This forces teams to be more than just a few players, and to know more than just one set of strats. It keeps things interesting and changes the way the game is played.

OMG , general has actually read or website!! WOOT +15 for e-status. I could care less about that match. it was just funny how you said that "the starters" of your squad don't play in twl ladders. Seems to me that you came in during the OT when you guys were about to loose. hmmm. I am sure there was a reason for pulling out someone that was playing the whole match so you could slide in. Not that it matters either way but it's just funny how you are a hypocrit. I think the logs must be wrong or someone changed them cause it looks like you went in and got shot up by rain.. can't be.

e-drama
well my thread got deleted, so i guess its off to this one!

Its better for AA.

Well, it looks like Enervate is going to potentially lose their spot in the invites if they don't play, no one is suggesting to remove a team from TWL-Invites or CAL-M for turning down a vidcast. So I would have to say there is more pressure to play in the 6v6 then to have your match vidcast.

Personally I think that rule could be interpreted either way, 'immediate past league' could mean the immediate past league of any size or the immediate past league of a particular size. On one hand, I think the latter should be the case because just as their are teams that do not desire the 6v6 there are also teams that do not care for the 4v4. On the other hand, keeping the two leagues intertwined promotes teams to participate in both, which is good for the league overall.

Sucks for ENE.

Not really, if they choose that come next 4v4 not to put us in the invite division then the teams in open or inter will suffer, i dont mind either way

But as i said i'll worry about that when the time comes, same for the admins i'm sure. They are not going to worry about something now that wont matter for 3-4 months or more....
