Below is the ballot that will be going out today via email. I thought i would post it here as well. The vote will go till Sunday @ midnight EST.

IMPORTANT READ INSTRUCTIONS FIRST!!!!!!!!!!

INSTRUCTIONS: There will be a total of 10 maps chosen for league play. Please choose 5 from each map category below by deleting the maps that you do not want in the league. Choose 5 outdoor and 5 CQB. AFTER EACH MAP THAT YOU HAVE CHOSEN PUT A NUMERIC VALUE FOR THE TIME YOU WANT FOR THE MAP. example Tiaga 7. This means that you choose tiaga with a maptime of 7 minutes. Also at the bottom are the 2 overtime maps. Please put times next to them as well. If your ballot does not follow these instructions it will be discarded. Use the reply feature to send it back to rhitty@teamwarfare.com .

No it wasnt fixed, same on other maps (dockside for example). Well, i highly doubt people are going to vote for those anyways so it doesnt really matter.

p.s.: Europeans will get the email as well, right?

Id like to put more emphasis on this part. I have asked for a very simple email from those founders wanting access to the leadership forum, and almost half of the requests are not in the right format, and dont have the right information.

I love that we are allowed to vote, but dislike that we are forced to choose between 5 outdoor and 5 cqb maps. My team already did a internal vote, and no one wants 5 outdoor maps, now we gotta choose 5... just saying if the majority wants mostly outdoors or mostly cqb then they shouldn't have to split 50/50. To me the indoor/outdoor debate can be carried on just like the oldschool/sf debate, some people simply prefer or are better at one or the other, and if 50% have to be outdoor, then why not 50% have to be SF and 50% normal? I know there is no way another email will go out or whatever, and really am delighted to see TWL asking the community for input on this scale, just food for thought for next season: let us be free in our selections. Currently it's like going to the poll and having to vote for half democrats and half republicans, which no one does.

Sorry if I come of sounding negative, it's just when u first announced a vote my team (and myself) was like "yay, now maybe we won't have to play as many long range maps" but now it's clear, that regardless of how we vote will still have 50% distance maps. Again, I really like how involved with the community TWL is, just wish the restraints were lifted off of our voting.

Is it acceptable to vote for fewer than 10 maps, or will that get your ballot discarded?

That is the thing. This is for league. So we should have an even amount unlike before. League players should be able to play what ever is given to them even if they like it or not. I for one would love nothing but tunnel 3 min rounds every league night and playoffs but that will never happen. So we are just trying to even it out with the maps that are good for competition

so far 63 teams have the at least 8 with about another dozen or so at 5,6 or 7 players.

yes there will be an intermediate with that many players. it will more then likely be 12 teams in invites and 12 teams in inters.

Roger that, thanks for that info. Out of curiousity also, since there is an inters, have the invitations gone out to the invite and inters teams?

Maps are normally judged based on where the objectives are. RT is massive outdoors but it is rare the defenders leave the objectives that are inside for that map.

although I think your list looks delicious faint, you don't have the required 5 outdoor maps, only 3. And you can't choose Hospital.

What exaclty is the vip bug anyways? Is that the "crap I start red with 30 rounds" bug?

The argument about map choices and preferences for cqb/longrange will never end but most teams with any balance can be respectable on any map. 12oz is probably one of the best at that in my opinion.

We are decent as well... as long as its not IC. o_O

The OT choices are insane. This is by far, the best OT circumstance ever presented for any game at anytime in TWL.
