I'd like your input.

Did you like/dislike knowing all the weeks (map, opponent, home/away status)? Or did it take away from the suspense, surprise, etc?

Let me know. I'll go with majority decision.

Also, any comments/suggestions regarding only the invite league.. (no rules, maps, etc.).. anything I and only I can do for you.

For me, I kind of like the suspense of not knowing who you're going to play. Now, knowing the map I would still like to know just so you can practice up before time. Home and away don't really matter much in the way of the outcome of the match.

I dunno, maybe keep the league the same way, but only let us know who our opponents are two or three weeks ahead of time.
maps we should know at the beginning, opponents at least a couple weeks ahead, anything else whatever is easiest for you guys.
Invite teams only legit, get out of here!

I like knowing neither the opponent nor the map. I am a big fan of surprises.
you know what makes it better? having a random ballot run by TWL that also determines your roster/back-ups for the night. That would be hot.

yeah, that would be cool if noone had a life...

ok then if you are worried about scrimming a team you might play against, how about revealing the opponenet but not the map?

That's what I said. GG

I think if its a big match up and you know the map, teams come up with new things to try but i don't mind either way.

What faint is basically saying is that he looks down on almost all of you other "bad" invite teams.

I will be cheering against iog in all matches this season because of this egregious breach of e-etiquette.

Give the opponent, but not the map. It is like the playoffs each week that way

By the end of the next week, most likely.

Yea but then playoffs and regular season are the same thing, i think they should be different.

And home team should have side choice and server choice otherwise its pointless.

Side choice and server choice could be determined with ease and I agree they (home) should have those...
Side choice is already determined by home/away status. That won't change. The home team defends (naturally) and the away team attacks (naturally).

thats the best way imo....

Home team gets server choice and that makes a big enough difference.

My ping to a texas allfrag server is not nearly as good as if i'm playing on our chicago server.

so home gets side choice, away gets server choice?

No, home get's server choice. Nobody get's side choice. Attacking team starts on assault and home team starts on defense.

isn't this the way it has been like forever? or atleast the last 4-6 seasons or so. Since we've been doing the leagues here atleast...

Okay. I think the majority is keep it the old way.. so unless someone has a great argument against this, it stays the old way. Okie dokie?

Old way = Whole schedule out by week 1 (Map/Opponent/Home or Away)

ahh kk your right, it is stupid cause i dont think we have ever done that. Almost every match we either play it all on one teams server or the other.

Just a pain have to switch....

give the map, opponent, date, time, and final score, but please god, dont give us which side we start on. thats what matters the most.

btw, how do we know who are invite teams? still says open on my home page, no teams listed in invites.. are all just suspended in a cyberspace bracket?

http://www.icenine.us is --> online.

https://www.facebook.com/iceninegaming <--- Go like this and check out the photos.
The only way I can do that is by scheduling the matches in randomness with respect to home/away.. and on a seperate thread in the league forum, post home/away status.. problem is, would everyone check that thread?

Since recruiting Jiggles, they decided you belonged in open.
