Teams don't get to choose who they play, it's like http://www.caleague.com . Almost a tourney =] .

Twilite flame and some other bigger maps in the 2v2 ladder

I think this has been brought up before...but...I would like to see finals and all of that. My team is in Rung 2 (for now) and like everyone else, we want to make it to Rung 1 (why not), but the very chance of Rung 1 and Rung 2 being open to challenge one another is slim to none. We might get lucky and get that window...but some how I doubt it. What are the plans for this in the near future? All I have heard is rumors, so I want to hear the facts now. Thanks.

Right now we are setting up a 3v3 ladder. I'm working on a CnC 2v2 and 3v3 map pack, of course when it's ready I will ask you guys to test it and vote the maps you don't like in it I'm trying to find the best competition map possible!

As for a league, we are still in talk, it's no rumours that we want to make one but we are not yet sure when it will be done.

so here's a small conclusion.

- Map pack for 2v2 and map pack for 3v3 ladders
- Rules tweak again, TSN prefers 2 out of 3 while here people prefere 1 round and vice versa.
- 3v3 ladder in construction and 80% done!
- The plans for a league still holds

Even a time period when TWL ladder could meet up at a certain time and scrim.

As for a tournament which is still in question, and the prize factor from the other thread, I'm sure we could work something out.

I would suggest handing out software and such but the only copies I can provide would be burned and it would be illegal handing them over to winners. I don't have the money to go buy a 2nd copy of Photoshop7.0 and Flash.

Money is always fun, but having money as a prize would really pis people off if they lose or if there is a disconnect in the game the disputes would be offthe charts in hostility.

Shirts and visors aren't too expensive to make only like 12 bucks to make a shirt. Considering these tournaments wouldn't be too often it shouldn't be hard to afford.

Hrmm.

Regarding some larger maps on the TWL list, yeah that would be nice. Twilight flame and white out are really the only other maps I'de like to see on the list.

I hate trying to test out a teams skill ona a map like Golden Oasis where the top half of the map can grab the only expansion much quicker than the lower half. Perhaps design something where the defending team could select 5 maps and then have the program pick a random one from those 5 maps chosen.

Just a few ideas I've conjured up.

Here's what I'd like to see, Legende. A max of 5 players is fine for the 2v2 ladder, but I think maybe adding two players per team for the 3v3 ladder whould help teams not miss any matches.

Make the top 3 or 4 teams battle it out in a FFA team match 2v2v2, and they get a prize or something =)

Leg i got another idea, how about every month you come up with cool matches and sertian things you can do. Like if a person wins and 2v2v2 they get medal and teams that kill over 200units in 1 game get a medal. Just idea to give people more goals and fun with them. Another medal idea would be like 20wins in a row medal on TWL

We have to keep maps random
indeed teams would always pick the same maps :

If the 2v2 was to go back to best of 3 maps, the Defending team could pick the 3rd map(tie Breaker map) and the first two maps would be randomly selected. That set up would be just like Tribes2 matches are done. It works well, gives the Defender a upper hand when it comes down to a tie breaker map. First team to win 2 maps is victor(hence best of 3).
