ok, so yeah, everyone's getting a little tired of SH, i can feel it. but why does this bring out immaturity and lack of sense?
in the last month or two, i've seen someone go AWOL over a cheats site b/c he thought everyone cheated, so he just posted the cheats for the "few of us" who didn't know. a man i used to think i knew and was a good guy. he flipped his lid.
another guy was blackballed, i saw it before my own eyes. it was a really big and nasty situation
i've seen admins turn their heads on other admins who have done wrong. i've seen admins who truely care about the ladders, and put effort into it, and i don't want TWL to loose clans, loose players... all because the "as the world turns" tour has came to TWL. guys.... grow up, get some man balls, get a grip on reality. this game is for fun, it should be. clans are a way to form friendships and play w/ "buds" in online games against other groups of friends in friendly rivalries. is there REALLY a need for back stabbing? to quote a chic-lead band... "true friends, they stab you in the face". if you don't like someone, or something about them.... you can just tell them straight up. let them fix it or leave... or just tell them to leave. don't try and cover everything up, it just makes yourself look worse.
seriously, i get this sinking feeling that as these trends continue, it's not just gonna be games like BT or CoD that will split the community, but it'll be jackasses who can't stay civil that will run clans and members away from TWL because of some of the drama going on... at all levels, clan members, clan founders, admins, whatever. i just truely hope that everyone grabs their britches, gives themselves a BIG OL' wedgie, then wakes up and gets back to real life and figuring out that this is fun, don't take it too serious.
