What a sad state of affairs we were dropped 10 rungs which is in the rules and I'm ok with but CHRIST we had match comms going on, both servers listed and passwords where is the common deceniecy it's not like this match was in limbo.

i would say something, but i'd probably get banned or flamed lol!

Either way, i think its kind of ridiculous. From what you've said......... things seemed to be going alright... No ?

I posted in comms lastnight scooby, that you guys needed to hurry and accept date. Hell, I even tried going to your server to tell ya.
All ladders have a time limitation for match responses. This includes Acceptance of a Challenge and/or Date Acceptance. The Present time frame is 48 hours. At that time a "Flag" is created for the Ladder Admins to address the next time they login to their Admin Console.

is there a time limit of reporting a loss?..were still waiting for the obj 7vs 7 to be reported

I just looked at comms. You posted a server and password. You didn't finalize a date before the time limit. You also failed to make any comm posts regarding a date. The ONLY post you made was on server ip and password.

I fail to see how this is sad? You didn't finalize a date within 48 hours and you didn't have any posts on changing the dates selected.

It's purely a admin decision not understanding, and making a standard judgement for a team that doesn't deserve a standard decision. Ah, well...these ladders are dead anyways. On with BT.....

I didn't see ANYTHING in comms on changing dates. ANYTHING.

End of story. You want an admin to see that you are working out new dates do it in comms. I can't use my ESP to tell what you are doing. And if you think that these games and posts will do you any good in any other game.. think again.

I wasn't arguing the decision Spaz. You made the only decision you could. That's all. It's a standard that you followed and have to apply to all teams. That's all. If you did know the situation, maybe it would be different. Either way...I don't care to be honest with you. Playing UNO in a match that has a match password of "Please?", ranks up there with cleaning NYC subway stalls to me.

i sure hope that's not the reason why the date was stalled or something... because you were complaining about a match psasword. you coulda done somethin like that for your password if you wanted to (as you have the right to a 2 server match now)... and seriously, would it be better to beat a team that thinks they might lose to you... or beat a team who's so full of cock, that they won't know what to do when they lose?

[edit] this in no way is me calling uno full of cock (though, why the hell not ) just stating that if one team is that rude to you, then it's just more fuel to the fire to kick their ass.

I have no idea what was in the match comms. I'm no longer an admin. Just voicing an opinion...nothing more. As for UNO's match password...it' obvious why it was used. It's UNO..that's all. When I used to run the match comms and set the passwords, I often thought about being a complete ass by using a rude password for the match. But, then, I realized it's childish and posted a proper password. No skin off my nose really. It's over and done...on to the next challenge.
