DEMOS

Whats teh deal not many ppl post demos anymore. I think ppl need to start posting more demos I know its not just me who loves to watch demos because I think I got about 30 demos on my computer, so everyone should start to post more match demo. Just a thought

To tell the truth I havn't really seen a lot of demos posted for SH. Mainly just the ones you do Sweeper.

ive tried it for our clan. it does a serious number on my fps, and i need all the fps i can get. seriously though, i have a p4 2.8 800fsb, 1 gig mem, ati9700 and wd raptor hd.

what kind of fps are you getting and what kind of hardware are you running?

the only way to make a demo during a match is to have an alternate output (i.e. tv out or a second vga out) and record that either via VCR, or into a vid card on a second machine which can take rca in, and then process from there.

Ya I record it thru a tv card onto my vcr then after teh match I take clips off the video onto WIN DVR.
I have p4 gig ram radeon 9800 I run about 200 frames most the time. I agree Hobbes there isn't much demos ever posted either by me or the lvps 2 man the odd time but I would like to see more demos I get a lot of enjoyment outta them, Ive been making them a lot lately jsut because I just got everything hooked up. Hobbes if there is any D12C ones you have saved up add me to msn and send me them tabbott17@hotmail.com

We can always make a small movie. With voices and ect....! Its quite possible. Could write a script and ect... get someone who can record it with the best quality and... Just an idea.

Is there a way to record it on the PC alone? I have Windows Media program on here that lets me watch TV, record it, and listen to music etc. I dun like ocnnecteing to vcr then back to comp lol.

well, i have an ATI all in wonder, i could loop the vid out right back to my vid capture... and run that on my second processor, but it'd still affect game play a bit i think. especially if you don't have 2 processors

This is for anyone interested in teh uno-d12c tdm demo

the way i make my demos is i record on to a VHS tape, i have my vid card export through an RCA, and i have a Y spliter for my sound, i have one go out to the VCR with 2 RCA cables, and i have the other go to my actual sound speakres, works very well, only problem is i am never able to be heard cause i dont hear myself on my speakers.

just unmute your mic on playback, it's not THAT big of a deal, i just usually keep it turned off, but it's not too distracting to have it playingback. and you'd be able to record yourself as well.

ok i got my vcr hooked to my comp thru a tv card in my comp. How do I record on vhs? just click record? how do I get the video from my vcr to my comp?

More specific... I have that yellow video cord connect from my vid card to my vcr's video in. The prob is, I dun get a signal from my comp. I press rec, but it records nothing.
