btw... that southwest heat is NOTHING, it was 110 when iwas in vegas and it felt like it does when it's only 75-80 degrees F here in FL. try turning up that humidity factor to oh say 90-100% humidity almost constantly during the summer (el nino/la nina have changed it a bit, but it's still pretty much BAD all summer long).


p.s. in FL, summer is thought to start sometime in mid april and continue through the middle of october, with variations from year to year up to a few weeks longer.

33yrs old soon 34, Phoenix, AZ at my work it is 112degrees. Kind of like an oven, it is a dry heat. Yeah right. It's like HEL, and that is where i am at, muhaaaamuhaaaaamuhaaaa.

If you think about it, shouldn't Phoenix + jet exhaust = Screw this job, I'm going back to college?

well felaz I live in FL as ya know and own a satellite and antenna business. Now I do have peeps that work for me but sometimes..and I stress sometimes I gotta run wires thru attics...now I don't know if any of you been in a attic when its 100 outside and 120 in the sun..but its focking hot. But being from Rochester NY and living in the damn snow I'll choose sweating my balls off anytime...lol..peace

i'd rather live up north, here's my logic:

when it's cold, you can always get warmer clothes, and put more clothes on. also, when you reach your destination, you don't smell.

when it's hot, you can only legally take off so much clothing, and hell... even if you go starke nekkid, you STILL could be too hot. when i open the door and walk to my car, and i'm sweating so much i need another shower (after i JUST took one) then i smell and stuff.

here is my theory in action:

in cold, you have a date (any women out there, just convert genders to fit), you walk outside, all cleaned up and ready for a date, it's cold, so you have a jacket on. you proceed to pick up the girl. you decide to go to a movie, so you drive to the movies, and it's cold outside, so she wants you to hold her tight. no problem (SCORE 1 for the guy). cold = cuddle time.

in the heat, same scenario, you've already got cleaned up at the house and walk outside, start to have sweat bead up (esp on your back and forehead). but the A/C gets crankin, and it's finally comfortable, but your back is still a little moist. by the time you walk up to the door to greet your girl, your back is already starting to perspire (visible thru the shirt). you arrive at the movies, walking to the theater, you definitely don't do more than just hold hands. in the movie there's NO cuddling b/c you are still trying to cool down for 2 hours. hot = NO CUDDLES


there in a nutshell (ok, it's a HUGE NUT!) is why cooler climate is better.

p.s. though we do have the beach (at least here in Jax), not everyone in the heat here has the beach.

hahaha...deep thought went into that shit..ok,,,heres a point...if its hot and you pick up your date chances are shes gonna be wearing Daisy Dukes or some kinda mini skirt which allows for easier access and also tell what kinda body she has going on...yeah at first it might be a little moist and heated down there but who goes right for the ass in the first 15 minutes...if its cold ya mind as well scratch that shit....sure she'll wanna hold ya tight only to produce heat and not become frost bitten but the chances of getting her pants off are slim to none...so basically there are some good points made but if ya ask me there nothing like walking around in flip flops and shorts drinking a beer watching litte sluts run by in Thong bikinis...but thats just me

yeah, i wear NOT flip flops maybe 14-21 days out of the year (cept for work, and playing ball and running, that doesn't count). no, scratch that, more like 5-10 days a year i'd wear tennis shoes as just walkin around (or being too cold for flip flops)

and yeah, you do have a valid point about the advantages of heat and girls, if it was more dry, like only 50-60% humidity, it'd be the best of both worlds.
