SH Demo-ing

i hear that fraps is a good program, also my own gfx card can do vid capturing, this being said:

you don't need a mod or .pk3 file to "demo" a game.

i would strongly suggest not using fraps if you only have single processors, as i have heard it makes the game MORE THAN EXTREMELY laggy when recording. i have dual processors, so it'd be no problem for me, i'd just set SH to run on one processor, and set the affinity of Fraps to the other CPU.

has anyone else read anything, heard anything, or used anything about this? i'd like to know other ppl's comments, as i'm sure most ppl DO NOT have dual processors, so there's prob a nicer solution out there.

yes you right i have a single processor and i have tryed fraps and it gets like you said extremely laggy, that's to bad. Well hope something comes out that people with one processor can use or i will just have to buy a new processor then i have two.

unless you can get the exact same processor, then you'll be buying two... and at any point, a new mobo. it's worth it, i just wish i could of afforded two HIGH end CPUs. oh well 1.13 Ghz tualatins will have to do.

I tried FRAPS it make the game unfun meaning laggy, your ping stays the same though, its kool how it can tape u while your playing but if u only ahve 1 processor it only gonna show u getting killed b/c of the lag.

If you play while you run it on a single processor, not only will you have extreme lag, but the unedited video will can be up to a gigabyte every couple minutes of recording.
