I see that it says under Mods......Code Security (No others unless specifically agreed upon by each squad captain before the match Effective 4/14, But I do not see that it says it is mandatory to run the program. I am just trying to clear this all up. If it is mandatory then cool beans.
That is why it is listed. It wouldn't be listed if it weren't. It doesn't say "Number of Squads: 2" is mandatory but it being listed means it is so. The mods line in other words says that the mod to be used is Code Security and you can not use any others unless you and the opposing team captain agree to their use prior to the match commencing.
I will ask for a review of how the rules are stated and see what the general feel is on it by the higher ups in TWL.
only thing i could say, is have the line read more of a sentance than a list and just say:
code security MUST be loaded on the server, no other mods are to be on the server unless agreed to by team captains in match comms.
to our server config for matches in order for CS to actually "run"
Are we permitted, at OUR discretion, to use the forced screenshot feature (reasonably, of course) and the alias check? ______________________________________________________________________
antihack has been known to produce some lag, so as with other options it can be turned on if both teams agree.
SS's are to be forced by an OC, or set on random for TDM maps. If no OC is present the teams must agree on someone to force the shots and not bitch about the time they were taken.
the alias check is usually only used at the start of the map as it also causes a lot of lag... if someone doesn't show up the first time, try again, because it doesn't always work. Usually give it 3 tries - then if someone doesn't show theres something wrong.
as far as i know, there is no need to change your match config files for CS, the pak file is loaded, and it loads extra commands that can be called on via rcon in console. i dunno about the random SS b/c that's in TDM and we just recently joined that, but as far as obj games, you don't need to do ANY thing else, other than simply leave the zzz-codesecurity.pk3 file in your main folder. all else can be done by an OC, unless you want SSs taken prior to the start of the match or something.
to wrap it up, the only thing that is actually MANDITORY is having the actual pk3 file loaded on your server.
anyone feel free to correct me if i'm wrong or add to it.
