How many times does this happen......

It seems lately that we start a match and then the first map finishes and the other team all the sudden has questions. I ask myself why werent these questions brought up before the match? This happens on any server rather it be ours or the opponents. Im just saying that our team really never bitches, we take our loss and move on, its just a game.

this kind of stuff is not allowed on the forums and I think you both know it. Ace's first post is a valid question and doesn't require flame wars, although it may have caused it.

he's been bitching about the same thing in about 4 different threads. i think ace needs to be locked for a bit.

before your match , ask do you you have any ?, if they say no, ss it, then have some after you win,say sorry but the match will continue, then forward the ss to admins, they realy don't like this stuff, 50-50 chance of the despute, but might help, once the game has started , dispute is after the match, if they go to spectate before the end of map , you win, you need to all work all of this out b4 the match, not 3 mins in or after the map ended, if you disagree don't dispute till you have completed the match, or it counts against you

so you mean to tell me you have never started a match thinking everything is great and then realize once the battle has started that the other team either has something set on there server they shouldn't or something happens that shouldn't..not everything can be discussed before a match if you don't know it's gonna happen.

starting the match, then all going to spectate after your behind and knowing now what the team had plained is wrong, once you agree your ready, the match is on, desputes comes after! And after the match starts if any of the other team is in spectate for more then five seconds , they loose! Thus the despute comes after the map!

no one said the team with a dispute all goes to spectate. but like we agreed to let them keep CI running on their server, but they had the anti landsharking cheat protect, which means you can't jump at a ladder and hit use... you just automatically die. we never noticed that on the first map because there weren't any ladders (not that i remember, it's been a little bit ago now). i'd like to hear what a ladder admin has to say about playing out the match all the way before bringing up any questions, i know some ppl say to just play on and dispute later... but if we win, there's no use in disputing, and if we lose, it'd look like we're trying to get out of a loss... it seems like it would be more fair to take care of the situation asap and waste the least amt of time (esp if a resched or forfeit is at hand).

sol? TC? any thoughts from up high of just what we should do? (besides use our own discretion) maybe give us some general pointers on what you loosely base your decisions on; as far as how important a problem is, to need to stop the match right then and fix the prob or resched the match compared to playing it the rest of the way thru.

but still my point is! if you ask to stop and go to spectate, and know the the other tems plain now? but you question is not proven to be one that should of stoped the match, should it still be played out, or is that map won by the team that didn't go to spectate durring a match? cause they now hve your plans!

nobody should go to spec a cease fire should be called everyone stays where they are and the problem is discussed by a member from each team that is in charge the map should either re-start or continue from the agreed time the ceasefire was called..that would make the most sense.

i believe this as well, but the restart bothers me! we trained for two hours on aplain, and the plain only worked if we did right from the start and stayed ahead! it worked! but few minutes into it the other team suddenly went to spectate and side they weren't ready, and we restarted, but they new our plain after that and it didn't work the next time!

and the plan was camping? sorry, but most plans deal with you attacking in waves or patterns, not so much everyone camping at one spot. that being said, if they went to spec, they may have seen where you were standing at the time, but nothing more than that.

as for the answer you gave about my last post!
it was durring our first wave of attack, and we had gotton ahead, but when they all went to spectate, this match was a round based, they knew our plain and which way we were coming and we're our back up guys were!
so they new what was coming on the restart and was able to stop the plain!

you aren't the damn forum good samaratin honorary admin, and i wasn't that off topic, i was seriously trying to figure out how a "plan" is so easily found out as they go to spectate, that they wouldn't have figured out. round based, so they should of figured it out within 2 rounds?

and my post did not get in the way of anyone posting abou the original topic, my post wasn't "off topic" it was going with the flow.... the flow was going away from topic, yes, but that's natural with a topic such as that and the following posts. it's nothing to cause the thread being locked, or just move the thread so far in a new direction, it has nothing to do with the subject. the first post was left somehwat open ended. it was more of a statement, not a direct question. in that caes, EVERYONE'S posts were off topic since he never asked anyone question. it's an open ended discussion, so i'm right on target.

sometimes i feel like people just enjoy seeing how may threads they can lock up!

actualy all the questions should be post in match comm prior to the match. this would give you a record of your aggrement or non agreement and admins would have it for there record as well!

i am still a little confused by what you are trying to find out, there is 2 different things you have mentioned, in battle, and before match. before a match i would think pretty much everything is spelled out in the rules for each particular ladder and the only agreements or questions would be about changing them, and as i stated before in game during battle problems EXAMPLE: server set up problems ect.. should be settled with a cease fire all players staying in game not spec..and if the problem is rectified like i said before, the map can begin again in 2 ways 1 a restart, or 2 starting from the time that a cease fire was called. seems pretty straight forward to me. as far as i see it no one should eneter spec mode except before and between maps.
