too quick to jump the gun.

for once we had a nice thread going, EVERYONE was having fun. yes, it was aimed at all those talking about rockets being banned... that's why i made this thread. we all got tied up in that and needed a nice place to vent and go back to being happy and not so fed up with those ppl. this is kind of like the comedy relief in a movie... there were no personal bashings, it was all done in good taste, and everyone had a nice chuckle... i don't see why the thread needed to be locked.

whatever, it's your decisions... but i really think you should be a slight bit more leinient (sp?) on locking threads... i do say locking the UNO/TvS thread was good, it was a misunderstanding, and was going towards ugly, good call spaz. but solitude... i like you, but don't cut off threads without a real purpose. just because YOU think it's lame and even somewhat stupid, it evoked not ONE comment about it (Besides you), so i think you were alone in that... let the rest of us have fun please.

true it is "their forums" and they can "do what they want" but what if everyone stopped posting? it's just like america, once officials are elected, they don't have to do one thing they promised, or listen to one thing that their ppl ask/tell them. but they know if they don't keep ppl happy, it's bad news. not to say that i'm going to drop TLW and ask everyone to follow b/c of this one thread locked (for no reason) but i mean, heck, even TC seemed to enjoy the thread. it was just all in pure fun, not even a warning about it. literally that was the worst thing someone coudl have said to lock the thread with "this thread is lame and boardering on stupid, i'm locking it down" i mean, everyone else was having a good time, it sounds like mom just came home, and everyone WAS watching monty python's holy grail and laughing... and when mom came home at 10pm she said it's getting late and everyone has to go home NOW! even though we were doing nothing wrong.

that's all i meant by this, was that i felt my thread was injustly locked down, and whether or not it get unlocked, i don't really care so much, but i don't wish to see this become a trend, either just against MY threads, or anyone's threads. that's all, just voicing my opinion in a manner which i think is in decent taste.

I have to agree with you Grin.

99.9% of threads that get locked are locked for a good reason. This time the reason for locking your thread escapes me.

Well Grin I started one of those rocket threads and I still to this day feel strongly about my Opinion.......I do have to say when I saw your thread follow it, I had to smile and laugh inside.......I took no offense toward your positioning on your thread and actually found it humorous. So I guess what I am saying is that I agree with your point on this one :-)
