SV_PURE

I recently discovered that the server we have does not work with pure its a 2.15linux from Spectral Hosting. Our tech told me that twl has been informed of issue.Please advice as I understand others are having the same problem.Also we tryed the shortcut edit.(LVPS)DARTHMILLIUS

well thats no the only problem i know our server host flat out refuses to put on the 2.15 path for the fact that it messes with the server . so what do we do pull out of the league because we dont meet the sv_pure rule? so units can rest easy that they were creamed by skill not cheats?

There is a problem with the Linux 2.15 running sv_pure. For the time being if teams running linux servers could defer to their opponents server that would be greatly appreciated. Otherwise you can post in match comms to postpone the match and alert Viper to the fact that this is taking place.

I run several SH servers myself and have had no issues with the 2.15 patch "messing" with the server. If your provider doesn't wish to install the 2.15 patch just yet then refer to the recomendations for the linux server teams. Viper may wish to do something different but until then let's work with each other.

Find a different server company maybe. SV_PURE is the best thing that has happened to MOH.

we are in a contract so thats very unlikely. the only othe ralturnitive that i can think of is to find a league without sv_PURE MAYBE!!!!

Good luck man. I just know that before SV_PURE MOH was pretty much unplayable, due to all the hackers. Any league that would not require SV_PURE would be a hack fest that no honest team would want to be a part of.

nope we have asked them several times to upgrade the patch and they told us no!

We just added our second server a windows server and PURE is awesome.Works great no problems except you have to edit your shortcut.

Why is everyone just figuring out the edited short cut now? LOL. We used it in AA and carried it over into SH.

Because in the past editing the shortcut was not a requirement for connecting to a server.
