What is the Record?

What is the Record for the logest a team has held 1st place on any spearhead ladder?

We have held 1st place on the 2v2 Realism for over 5 months now. And defended it about 20 times. I'm prety proud of it.
But im sure somebody has held something for longer. Andybody have any imput?

i believe D12C holds that for spearhead tdm 6v6 from january to august. but at the same time i also believe UNO held spearhead rb tdm for just as long but i can only speak of our record.

also Big_AL and myself held the 2v2 tdm spearhead ladder for about 2 or 3 months im not sure on this one.

2v2 is gay though

No, I think that is as dumb as Freez tag, But that is just my opinion.

I like 2v2 because it relies heavily on individual play, While at the same time still relying on teamwork.

still doesnt say how well your team is...you could have 3 really good players and the rest are shit doesnt mean your team is good just means you have 2 good players

Dude, 2 is a team.

The same can be said for 6v6, Just because you have 6 good players does not mean the other 10 players in your clan is good.

Even if its 10v10, same deal. We have 20 players on the roster, So 2 is a team, 6 is a team, And 4 is a team. and 7 is a team.

Thats why its called 2v2 TDM. That means Team Death Match. See, its Team.

SunTzu constantly says how good 2v2 is. Fact is 6v6 > 2v2 and most would agree.

I think what tox is trying to say is that there are a lot of people that talk a lot of smack and hide behind theird team, and when it comes to idividual effort in 2v2 they cant back it.

True that other ladders require more teamwork and rely on team skill. However, 2v2 is the one ladder where one mistake can cost you a match, so I think that requires the most skill.

but one mistake by the opponent and the match could be "handed" to you. it goes both ways.

I've allways thought of 2v2 Tougher and more challenging and more personal. In 6v6 you only have to worry about a designated area most of the time, but in 2v2 you have to worry about more angles and more areas. But my original post was to know what was the logest 1st has been held on anyladder.

My oppinion is if you have held 1st on anyladder for a couple of months thats pretty impressive.

D12C on tdm = longer than anyone. ever.
