lol i just logged in to post this.

Is the new version ok or should we stick with 4.2?
if you dont switch you get this error
Note: Protections may Be weakened? [? zb_warnings?]
Basically I am looking forward to play in the new "eCompete" league and therefore follow forum discussions closely. people were arguing about the zb_authhost not working (this was the same for every league that had an authhost). Rafael the Director/Developper of eco emailed the people at zblock and this is basically what he posted to us.

"Sent an email to them today, but I don't know if it'll help :s

Someone find a gigantic exploit so they have to release a new zBlock version. They said on the next release we'll have a zb_authhost "eco" which won't require their website to work"

fast forward a few days and he posted this:

"Please make sure you update your servers with this version of zBlock.

Please note that the auto-update function from 4.2.0 will NOT work due to zBlock site difficulty.

You can read more about the update here:

http://www.zblock.mgamez.eu/" and added that the other problems other than the zb_authhost not working when the zblock site was down were fixed.

That said, the new version is definatly ok and I would personally switch to it as fast as possible. The new version can't be worse and if there is a problem they'll post an update which should be picked up by their autoupdate.
