we have zblock running and it works great so far.
but i just was wondering, does it also prevent wallhacks?

It prevents someone from using "materials." It was one of the most common ways to wallhack, but zBlock and sv_pure 2 work together to check for the consistency of materials.

It doesn't catch 3rd party cheats.
