new to CSS and CSS laddering.

Hello guys Im DNS|ReBeL and my clan is new to the CSS community but not new to TWL. I figure this would be a great place to find someone(s) who will help me out with a few server issues. As i am new to being in charge of a server as well.

Ok ... I know i need an admin plugin to help make controlling the server easy. What plugin should I get? Mani? Thas what ive heard around the community. I have no idea how to install MANI and get it working...

Also... i have purchased a server thru FPSdedicated and it runs great. Nice and smooth great pings but, how do i turn off dynamic pricing? I know these are probably NOOB/NEWB/NUB questions for all of you but I have never set a server up before. If there is anyone is willing to HELP ME set it up?

for a match server I would recommend you ED admin plugin.

you could use it also for a public, but mani has more "fun" settings which are great for public.

also you need zblock for your matchserver here on TWL en some other leagues to. http://zblock.cs-resourced.net/

to disable dynamic pricing put "mp_dynamicpricing 0" without the quotes into your server.cfg and your autoexec.cfg
don't know which of the 2 it has to be, but we got in on both

Also when you run the twl config witch hopefully you can get help on how to set that up, you just change the map back and dynamic pricing will be off.


On the mani I would say learn rcon commands and such and using them to go about matches.

Mani is designed for public servers and such.

how do i get to the console to get my id number?

can you expand i don't understand

if you enable your console in the css options you can get is by pressing the ~ key next to the 1 key
when you're in a server type status in console and you'll see all id from that server, also your own
