is there any point trying to compete here anymore? is twl even alive? can we get some BF3 ladders? geez

If we can get a showing of people that will actually compete here then we will be more then willing to start up a ladder and possibly a league. The last few times we have put up stuff no one competed at all on them.

Is there a way to market TWL to console gamers? Maybe try to get an advertisement on the Xbox dashboard? Have members spam their XBL/PSN friends about TWL to get the word out?

TWL is a predominately PC based competition website. No way around it unless console gamers become aware of TWL. Otherwise most console gamers will just stay at GameBattles or MLG.

And it's saddening because TWL has such a better gaming format than GameBattles. TWL offers more of a community feel to competition gaming, where if you got to GameBattles you get annoying, spoiled brats who bitch and moan if they lose.

I completely agree with this point and is why I wanted to help out consoles here originally. I have tried almost everything to get more people to come here and play competitively but nothing has worked =(

Maybe initiate a tournament first so attract players. Get a 4v4 Tournament with each round being a different game type or something of that nature. You have to spend money to make money. To make a tournament to create a future ladder!

The problem is they don't have dedicated Xbox staffers to admin the console side of gaming on TWL. As long as it will stay that way you never see more activity here.
