im TW nanno and im wondering if their is enough interest would TWL set up an LP ladder .
i have 30 to 40 eager men looking to apply their trade on a new ladder .

i might of eggsagerated a little ...but i do have about three to four teams ready to rock and im sure i could get some more interest while playing online .

I am the Commanding Officer of 1st Battalion in our LP Division and we are 39 in numbers as of right now. Between our 2 Battalions we have 6 active squads on a different gaming website. For various reasons the system is broken and we are looking for an alternative site to game on. I will spread the word amongst the leaders of other clans as well as alot of other clans are unhappy with the way it is run and only play b/c there is no other alternative.

myself or TW wicked lane or TW LostInPlace will post here the numbers we have.
if u want we would be glad to give u imput on how we think a LP LADDER SHOULD BE RUN .we played on the GB ladder and their is many things they do right on that ladder but their is alot of things they do wrong .
so let me know what u think and we'll post the numbers we have in the next couple of days .

i will not get them to register until we have something substantial to commit to .

their are two game types in LP (360)
1-Team Elimination
objective is to run the oppositions points down to zero .while getting kills and putting up post would score u points ,dieing and getting ur Vs destroyed would lose u points .

2-Post Grab
objective is to activate all post on the map to win the game .

ladder spec ,

if possible the creation of two ladders would be best ,one for each game type.when their are enough teams we would separate the ladders into European and US ladders .

matches should be held at scheduled times at the same time each week ,e.g Tues 8:00pm/10:00PM GMT/EST and sat or sun 7:00pm/11:00pm GMT/EST .team captains would agree a time to suit each other.if u need to reschedule u should be able to come to an agreement with the other team to play the match at a later date but no later than 7 day of the scheduled time .

matches should be contested in a best of 5 maps with the lower ranked team choosing 3 of the 5 maps .teams of the same rank would use a random setting for the first map and the losing team would choose the next map.
time limit would be set to 15 minutes each map .

LP CAN SUPPORT GAMES OF 8v8 MINIMUM REQUIRMENT FOR ANY MATCHS SHOULD BE NO LESS THAN 4 PLAYERS ON EACH TEAM .
team captains would agree on the starting number beforehand .if one team couldn't get the numbers required to play a match this would be grounds for a reschedule .

initial staring weapon should be limited to one weapon MACHINE GUN .although i do think eventually a rifle only ladder would be a good complement to the other ladders .

i apologize for the book but I'm very passionate about my LP GAME AND i feel this type of set up is vital to having a strong competitive LP ladder .
IM sure TW WICKED will have more to add as to TWlostinplace and TW NATEDAWGE .
SO PLEASE KEEP US INFORM REGUARLY IF POSSIBLE TO THE SITUATION SO WE CAN INFROM OTHERS.

The Caps are not needed at the bottom off your post my eyes are still fine.
Anyway im happy to see your guys positive imput in this but i like to see some numbers off other clans that you bring to here.

That does not mean im not going to talk with the rest off the staff but to speed up this process we need to know if its worth the effort.
I ll let you know when i have more details back.

these are just squad leader .i ask them to notify me when the had registerd by checking in .there will be no othere TW members doing this as u had asked me for a list already .my apoligies.

Hey I was wondering if you ever decided on a ladder for LP? cause i know I have people that want to join a lp ladder. Doesnt matter if its colonies or the orginal lp. I know we have played TW in the past and they are a stand up bunch of reputable guys that play with respect and honor. This is MmM spliffgriff. We have been looking for a site as well. Most of our clan is on cod 4 but there are some orginal lp clan members left that want to play. We have made a ladder before but there wasn't any interest. But this doesn't mean will wont open it back up, We are just asking for members from other clans to post; saying what ladders they would like to see.

They just announced Lost Planet 2 on Xbox Live yesterday. They didn't give a release date, but it will certainly be sometime this year. We will start a new thread when the time arrives.
