It is a sad day when we all leave this game that we have called home for the past year, but everyone knew it was going to come, and I have been dreading it for the longest of times. This community has stuck steady through UBI's prolongings of Demo's and patches, and mistakes, and this community has ridden the reigns of this horse for longer than they should have been rode. For the past few weeks I have been toiling in education matters, and have not found time to do what I love so much, which is complaining about having a slow computer, and being killed way to often on this game. During these few weeks I have realized how much I will miss this community, and how much it has already fallen to such a low level. I wish that as one whole we could all migrate to another multiplayer game, and make it as we made this one.. Fun. But that is just a dream of a simple child. We will all split, and we will all caress other games as much as we have loved and adored this one. Although the end is not quite upon us I would like to just recall all the memories. So here my Ravenshield story is.
I was posting on a Paintball forum one day when a friend of mine from the forums told me about a new demo that was out.. So I checked the demo out because I missed having something to do. The first second of the demo I was hooked, although I was a terrible player with my wonderful RPD I had fun. For the first few weeks I played around with a friend of mine, and got to learn the game, and got better at the game. Sooner or later I noticed that people started wearing tags in front of their names, and I began to want one. So I went into a clan server, and asked if I could join. They tried me out, and I passed, and that was where I became a member of Reign of Anarchy. This is where I spend the next 6 monthes. Towards the end of the demo we had sprung into the top ten of BQL, and as we all remember the key target in BQL was KRN and SMAK. In my days of RoA so far we had only matched SMAK once, and had lost 0-3, 0-3. So of course when the challenge came up again we were going to take it, and once again we lost. We matched SMAK at least ten times before we dethroned them, and this was a day of sheer join throughout our clan. that was a month before I was kicked out from the clan for not blending with the team as a player, and a person. The night I was removed I was allowed into SMAKS locked server, and this is where I became the player I am today. Throughout the next 3 months I played, became better, and matured with SMAK. I had made friends with the community, and made a name for myself, or at least I had hoped I did. After three months had passed I decided that it was a great time to try and join SMAK. Well I was denied twice to be exact, not for who I was, and not because I was disliked, mostly because I did not blend well with the players, and I wasn't up to par with them skillwise. So once again I packed up and headed to another clan, Ð12 is where I truly found my home. Silverback an old RoA friend was the newest Ð12 member, and he introduced me to the clan. I made friends quickly, and instantly wanted to be in the clan. Although I didn't make my decisions public just yet I had a yearning too. For the next few weeks I played with Ð12 and learned who everyone was and how everyone played. To me this seemed like the perfect place for me.. So I decided to give them a try. This was a hard time for Ð12 because something had just happened in the clan making them uneasy about new recruits. So I was denied. Here is where I went on my tangent, and joined the clan gL. I played for a week with gL, and decided it wasn't where I belonged so I left them and returned to trying at Ð12, and that is where I sit today.
So now that you have read my RavenShield story, I would like to read yours.
