Wizard can answer for himself but this is how I normally approach the cheaters issue now. I normally don't post about it because it fuels the paranoia surrounding cheating. And, in the case of a player being removed, can tarnish the name of a team for no good reason. If asked, I will answer questions regarding those teams for teams who are slated to play them. In most cases an observer will be assign to a few of their matches as well.
If the founder of a team is caught cheating then the team is most likely gone. Sorry, but if the big dog does it, then most likely the rest of them do. If I become your founder all of a sudden, rest assured you been caught
If we determine that a player is cheating we'll notify their founder. What happens next is what determines the demise of the team. In most cases the player is removed after the proof is shown and the team is normally penalzied for that match (forfeited). In some cases there may even be rung reductions. If the team takes no action against the player then I'll remove the team myself.
We aren't here to penalize an entire team because of one bad apple, but by the same token we do have to look out for the honest players that play at TeamWarfare. Each case can be different. If alot of a players on a given team are cheating then most likely the entire team will be removed.
Other reasons for getting kicked off the Ladders:
Banned players rejoining the team. Its the founders job to keep those players off. If you have been banned from TWL match play rejoining your team can result in their removal from TWL.
Repeated unsportsmanlike conduct and/or disrespect being shown to the admins can also result in your team being removed from ladder/league play. Every admin here volunteers their time to manage the activities that go here. We don't get paid for any of it. As a result there is no reason to disrespect the admins that manage the ladders. If you have an issue with an admin you are welcome to take it to the next person over his/her head. You can find lists at
http://teamwarfare.com/staff.asp
In essence, play nice, don't cheat and don't ruin the game for the teams that are here to have a good time.
