Shoutcasting

So we check "Shoutcasting" when we accept challenge - what is the procedure from there? Nothing seems to get organized by anyone. Is this something included for future use?

I have listened to a couple of shoutcasted mathces now - they are great fun even if just to get a light hearted view of some tactics.

I would love to help out with a shoutcast sometime.

Well not many people shoutcast RvS but other games like Tribes 2 and Tribes 1 get shoutcasted all the time. Maybe some people will want a change and shoutcast a RvS match then they know whats matches want shoutcasters.

Thats all really just an option but more popular on other games like T2 T1 and so on.

Well there are a couple of ways to get our attention. You can go to http://www.wsbn.com and fill out a request form for us to cast your match, you can go to #wsbn on all the major irc games networks (pgpn, gamesnet, etg) or you generally can post here because either bodyshot or myself reads these at least twice a day. Just try to give us a day or so notice so we can get it all set up, advertise it to the community, make sure both teams are good with it, get the server info, etc.

Also if you would like to help out with a cast sometime, get ahold of bodyshot (same methods as above) and let him know that you would like to be a caster. He can help you out from there.

TsN is preparing to get invovled with Raven Shield, we are in the process of setting up our first casts. If you are interested, go to http://www.tsncentral.com and click on REQUEST A SHOUTCAST, we will do the rest.

The shoutcasts Tiger is referring to are the ones on CinciHighSpeed.com Radio http://cincihighspeed.com - http://216.66.78.25:8000/listen.pls

The recording of their last match vs. |xR along with an interview with both teams and some Ti| members are available for download or you can listen to the rebroadcast. Needless to say we seem to have a nicht with this RvS gaming and the light hearted humor of our shoutcasters.

We have a programmer currently working on developing a new radio page for our site which includes a list of events (including a surprise phone call to UBI lead programmer) and other RvS matches. The live team interview post match worked out nicely on Friday. I would personally like to get more teams on our shoutcast with us talking about their post game matches (SMAK, MiN, COR, F2).
