12 hour tournament !?!?

Just a question to the community...

Last year, Turks Head Clan (with help from iLan) hosted a 12 hour Tactical Ops tournament (the game we were playing at the time) and it went great! We had 24 clans play 6 hours of round robin leading up to a 6 hour single elimiation tournament... All teams had a blast, as well as the admins...

So, my question is, would there be an interest in something like this for the clans that play RS on TWL?

Based on the response in here, I will post follow ups!

probably not...don't know if i can tolerate my computer chair for that long...

Yeah that would be too much for my eyes already....

I got a few words of advice for whoever brought this subject up. GET OUT OF YOUR HOUSE AND GO DO SOMETHING, WHO THE HELL WANTS TO PLAY A GAME FOR 12 HOURS STRAIGHT?!?!?!?!?

Well actually, last 2 years that we have done this, over 25 clans per year and over 150 people...

I guess now that we switched to RvS, I have to add that we will allow geritol breaks for you older fellas.....

And for the record, if you don't want to participate, then you can just avoid posting....

And for the get out of your house... this is just the warmup for the 48 hour paintball tourny we do as well..

I wasn't trolling for the fourm naysayers, so please keep the comments either positive or to yourselves :-)

When we did it the first time, it was great, all the clans loved it... good community bonding experience..

And, flans didn't play for 12 hours straight, the initial round robin part of 6 hours resulted in about 50% of the time used for play for the average clanner...

later on, only two clans played the next 5 hours (hour break between two parts) but by that time, they were hungry for the win...
