PATCH IS OUT!

Currently, it is not the required version of play for TeamWarfare just yet. Once the patch has proven itself stable, then it will become official.

Its quite annoying for it to be required on one ladder and not another. What could be the problem with it anyway? All it does is fix cd key stuff.

I have to agree with Bob here, all ladders I have ever been have a set rule that all patches are to implemented upon release, good or bad, just like getting the game out of the box, good or bad. But with this thread I will have to uninstall and reinstall the game almost everyother day, both on my system and have my server operator do the same for multiple ladder matches and practices.

It has nothing to do with how the patch changes the gameplay. It has to do with how the servers handle the game.

For example, once (or maybe 2x ), Dynamix released a Tribes 2 patch that would crash any server running it after 5 minutes. We were the only ladder that did NOT require it until it's stability was confirmed... and as a result, we were the only ladder that continued operating through until the next Tribes 2 patch.

The same thing happened in BattleField 1942.

So sit tight, chill, and you will know in a day.

Well I can tell you that its very stable. Ran it all last night, didn't have anyone complain about anything.

If the patch is stable, we will make it mandatory this weekend. I still have to test it out on my servers.

Teams can agree between themselves to use the patch however.

for you remote admins out there....

Did you reinstall all the game files or did just changing out those in the system directory work? Just about to start updating ours but fears transfering all the files again

TWL isn't the only league that doesn't make new patches mandatory ... CAL hasn't either

its running on our servers no problem

is this the same mr hat that was in NAH in rogue spear??? if so do you remember sooperstoner from 420?????
