Glitching.....

Exploiting map bugs, including but not limited to going under the map and moving through or shooting from places where flaws in the textures allow you to see through walls etc.

Can you clarify that to me plz ???
I just saw a glitch, on "moutain highway" map....near green spawn, theres a tree who can be use as a glitch...i mean, u just crouch or go there and enemies can BARELY see you....it's very hard to see and i consider that as illegal....i would like to know your thought on that...

Yeah very hard to see but would that be considered a glitch.

I know that one, and it's a "texture/map glitch", and is illegal. You cannot shoot through it, but it does allow you to see through snow... and that is illegal.

I've seen people going there and their body was like 95 % covered by the tree and they could shot enemies....that was kinda cheap...

see thru snow in a tree? im lost cuz i know the spot human is talking about but ur spot im confused mercury... pleas clarify

Sorry to disappoint you... but I am not in the business of handing out glitch locations... just so you can "go look, and remember never to use." They are very very obvious... and you always know when you are exploiting one.

I don't think I need to hold your hand and walk you down the road. When you are exploiting a glitch, I don't need to explicitly tell you not to! You should be mature and responsible enough to know that it is wrong.

Mercury , quit being vague - the last thing we need when discussing potential cheating is a member of the staff NOT really clarifying the issue. Is hiding in trees a cheat or not, because I see it often?

I dont want specific locations but it would be nice if I knew what the general rule was - then I could screen shot it. I do not want to be killed taking a screenie if the guy is not considered cheating.

The rules regarding cheating are vague for a specific reason; so a cheater cannot say, "it doesn't say so in the rules." So they are vague to alllow an admin some degree of freedom when assessing each individual situation uniquely.

And as for glitching, I will put it this way:

- If you can see them, but it's impossible for them to see you, that's exploiting a texture glitch in the map.

- If you can shot them, but it's impossible for them to shoot you, that's exploiting a texture glitch in the map.

Guys, this is not brain surgery! Lets not make it more complicated than it really is.

There are more glitches than just texture glitches. I know places you can climb up and hide behind that are not normally accessible. Is that considered cheating? I also know the tree in disccusion and the people still cant see through the tree, its a minor clitch if you ask me and I think you can shoot through the tree so its not a blocade, its no different than hiding behind a cracked open door.

Yes, it is considered as you exploiting a flaw in the map/game engine.
