thats what i was running until recently. good card for when it was made and will still run most new games if you have a decent processor, at least half a gig of RAM and are willing to play the games on lower graphics settings.
amd 2400 athalon
1 gig ram
all setting are on high, no lag.

I'm still running my Ti4200 to this day. I've never spent more than $125 on a graphics card and I don't plan on starting now. I do have a fast processor and plently of RAM though, so this allows me to play any of the current games, all-be-it on lower settings.

LOL Me too... Exactly the way I feel too... Doom3 pushed my stuff a little hard, but for some reason the ATI friendly half-life² / CS:S absolutely looks sweet, and very playable.

Ti4200, 128 mb vram
2.0g p4
1 g ram

Eagle's law ... build a new system when processor speed doubles...

But I have to say, the Twin PCIx 6800 SLI stuff looks pretty impressive... Couple that with a twin processor MB, twin sata HD's ... well I can dream anyways...
not sure how close my card is to that but i'm running an nvidia geforce4 4200 (on a laptop) and it runs all games perfectly. somehow the fps counter in Hl2: DM gets up over 100..
I run the 64 meg Ti4200 HA....and I have no probs

I run a BFG 6800 Ultra OC and I have no problems
I'm running Ti 4600 and I have a 6600 GT (APG) sitting on the floor but I need a new power supply to run it.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

I don't even know enough to know that I don't know...
im just runnin a ati 9000 pro and i run all games cept fer far cry just fine--D3 is slow but that when all settings are mid level...far cry just kills my system

amd 2500+ 1 gig ram
I run HL2 and Doom 3 at high on my Ti4200 128mb with no problems at all. And I never had a problem with RvS.
