****How to change ret back to the old one!!****

first of all, i hope this is legal and i only tested it in single player.

well i messed around with the ravenshield.mod and moved some things around. here's a pic of what i did.

Remember to make a copy of the file before screwing with it!

I'll give this a shot.

This works great.

changing what the ret looks like is only cosmetic (thanks for the word cosmetic, BT), it doesn't change the recoil or bullet spread.

true....but I'm gonna worry till I see the NEW CVar checks, and what they think of it before I do it

(yes the new ones SUCK)

turn off rets in game then take a sharpie and draw whatever ret u want on your screen :')

Mixed feelings I think but, if you do the change be sure and save the original file first so you can revert back if necessary.

yep

I don't think that changing the ret should be allowed. Why do you think they changed it in the first place. It is obviously an advantage over the guys who have their weapon showing. More screen to see your enemies and no muzzle flash, that is why they made the new ret larger.

how is it an advantage if they choose to go with the gun view.
