Rant..

I would just like to express how ticked off I and my team is at our situation for the week. None of us were too familiar with Tuscan, but once we found out we had a BYE for the first week, we all breathed a giant sigh of relief. Out of nowhere, we find out the day before the match is scheduled that a team has suddenly joined and we will have a match the following day, after telling my team we would not. We were very unprepared as a result of all of this, and felt that this was very unfair.
I think you're just upset with the outcome of the match, if you had to win, this thread would have never existed, thus proving that the primary intention of this thread was to vent, and to weigh blame on the system rather than your team. Good luck in your next match.

Obviously we were not happy with the outcome of the match. We were without 3 of our normal starting 5, and spent the final minutes leading up to the match trying to call people on our roster to see if they could come play.

Just saying, if a team is scheduled as a bye, a little more than 24 hours notice would be nice to have to let us know that our bye week is now a match.

Helmut4lyfe,

An e-mail was sent out to both founders early Sunday morning(approx. 9:30am) notifying them of the change in schedule, which gave you more then 24 hours to prepare for the match.

Yeah, assuming that we checked our E-mail on Sunday morning. It went to my Junk mail, and I didn't check it until that night when I got online. I'm not asking for a rematch or anything like that, I'm just saying that this shouldn't have to happen again in the future, for me or other teams.

Removal reason: Flaming and usless insults. This may result in a ban.

Since you aren't on any team and just appear to be trolling the forum this isn't acceptable and if it continues a forum ban may be placed on your account as per the guidelines for this forum.

I think that a 24 hour warning for a change in schedule is plenty. You said it yourself that the email went to your junk, which has absolutely nothing to do with TWL. I suggest you go and complain to Hotmail or Gmail.

Also, the email wouldnt have went to your junk unless you previously set a TWL email as junk. You wouldn't receive SOME TWL emails in your inbox, and SOME in junk. You either set teamwarfareleague.com as a spam address, or you didn't.

Also, the match was on tuscan.... Do you really need to prepare for tuscan?
clearly only upset because you lost. The time you wated on this thread could have been put to better use by dm'ing or scrimming.

Your team would probably have lost even if you had practiced all week.
Really guys? You played against 2 guys that had to DL Tuscan before the match because they've never played it. All I'm saying, is that if you schedule a team for something, make sure it's official and not subject to change the day before.

Sidenote: Don't flatter yourself guys (the 3 people who have posted were on the opposite team). We used the grace period trying to call random guys up that happen to be on our roster. 2 of the guys you faced on our team had never played with us before, both of whom had never played Tuscan before. No need to trash talk us

You have a big e-peen. Can I be an authority on dignity too? I want to be like you and warn people when they're down to just scraps of dignity and lead them away from the mean people of the internet. Just like you.
In all seriousness though,

To the trolls: We lost because we were terrible and got outplayed.

To the admins: For future reference, if you schedule a team for a BYE, and another teams joins the league late, give both teams a BYE.

REASON: If scheduled on Thursday for a BYE, one might tend to schedule RL for the day they would have had a match. When the team then finds out the day before that there's a match they might say, "Should I cancel my date with a girl/my wife and go play CS?". There goes half of the teams roster (usually).
