Week 1 - CTF League

If the entire season is anything like our week 1 match, this is gonna be a fun season. We had a very good match with Pain Inc. PI took the first map 6-3. We rebounded with a 4-3 overtime win in map 2. Map 3 was intense. CiC took an early 1-0 lead, but PI tied a short time after. At the 25 minute mark, CiC took a 2-1 lead, and was faced with a great challenge. PI put on a mad, crazy rush for 5 minutes straight. With only 20 seconds remaining, PI took control of our red flag, and we had all 6 teamates down. Watching the clock and getting nervous, I was blessed with the respawn gods and spawned right in front of the flag carrier, and BLAMO, preserved a 2-1 victory. A very good match indeed, much kood0s to Pain Inc, especially ANTI*PI*, who had 6 caps. I am very proud of my team, for pulling out a win in our first CTF match EVER. Great game guys. As a matter of interest, I'm still not really sure which side is stronger on this map.

Yeah, it's a tough call. I think the blue side has a couple more advantages.

blue is waaaaaaaay easier on dl2

We won one round on each.

Our experience was that blue was way easier. Of course, there are 2 totally different spawns on blue side, so maybe blue wouldnt be so easy if we got the river spawn.

i would say that blue is a little easier, but not by much. we did score more points as red, though.

i prefer to be blue cuz i dont like having to go through all those chairs and crap in where the blue flag is..but we did win in overtime against SEX being red. we won 1 game on blue side, lost 1 game on red, and won the last game on red
