Recently there have been some confusion with subbing players. So I decided to breal things down.
Substitutes:
Each team is allowed to have one member in the sub slot, however subs must be on that team's TeamWarfare League roster and eligible to play in the match.
This means just that, ONE...NOT TWO.
Subs are subject to the same rules and regulations as everyone else regarding recording and making demos available in the event of a dispute.
In other words, don't stop the demo. If returning as a sub, start a demo.
--A sub may only enter active play in the event that a teammate unexpectedly drops or leaves the server,
This means 999, not lets switch player a with the sub, who may do better
or if a timeout is called and the substitution is announced to the other team.
--Yes, you can bring the sub in, if player a needs to leave.
If a player leaves, only that player may return during that map.
T--hat would be the player who went 999, not the guy you feel like brining in.
In the event that the player returns he or she must initially enter the sub slot if someone has already been substituted into his or her spot.
--This means the returning player IS the sub, not some player you wish to make a sub.
If the team did not have someone in the sub slot and the disconnected player cannot return then that team may bring in an eligible player from their roster, but they may not bring in an extra player to go in the sub slot.
--This is the only time you can go outside the orginal 7 players on the server, and bring one player from your roster, that is eligible to play. You can not fill in the sub slot with a player.
Any time a player re/enters the server during the match, a timeout must be called. Any eligible player may be substituted in between maps.
--Yes, this means actually stopping the game to do substitutions, ammaziling enough it gives you time, to announce why a sub is comeing in.....
Hope this helps some.
