Reporting Matches

Please take note; When reporting match scores do not report the number of caps or rounds won. Report the number of maps won. For example if a team won 2 out of 3 then they would put 2-1 for the score. 2 maps won for them and 1 lost. If they had won both maps then 2-0 or if they lost both maps 0-2. We are now going by maps won. Before, when a match went 3 rounds and the team that won had fewer caps or rounds won it would give the team with the most rounds/caps the win. This will correct that problem.

Personally I like seeing the scores of the rounds...

The reason for this reporting is to avoid incorrect wins, like what happened last season. With the total number of rounds/caps counted, it is possible to win with less points then the losing team. This causes some issues in the match results system.

what happened to being able to see the per round scores?

twl is ghetto like that and isntead of adding 1 line of code into the website they rather just be lazy and have us report 0-2 1-2 2-1 2-0 =) kinda weak if u ask me.. no reason to blow someone out now. no more 69-0 scores to show off.

i reported regular scorse cause thats what the directons on the website said. if u feel liek fixing it fix it.

edit. wtf i looked at the scores.. evryone's scores is the old-style.. so how are we suppsoed to report scores? now im really confused.

TWL has one of the best websites out there for leagues/ladders.

Like I said, It would count the total caps/rounds won and determine the winner but thats not how a winner is determined. We determine a winner by maps won. A team could get blown out round 1, win round 2 and win round 3 and it would have given the first team the win. With this system it corrects that error. I'm sorry you cannot view the scores anymore. You can always post them on your website but do you really need to show how much you won or lost by?

i understand how the system works, i understand how OUR league's win is determinted. i also understand that the 2 conflict. but this is the 2nd bug on this website that i have seen. and they are preatty stupid, and easly fixed bugs. ( i understand that the score thing isnt a bug but thats the way other leagues count a winner.) if u havent seen the other bug ill show it to u on your next rants page.

This issues has come up each of the last 3 seasons, and maybe more. The first week they always had one line to report to report the scores, after discovering this did not work for reporting scores, they would change it so you could report scores from all 3 maps, which IMO is how it should be, not reporting map wins.
