TWL CTF Rankings Problem

Yesterday g6 beat PIT in 2 out of 3 but, the rankings shows a Lost for Us(g6) and a Win for Them(PIT) What Gives?
We Won 2 out of 3! and We Want our Playoffs!
so if LowKi or cakes or whomever could fix that I'd Lub U Long Time.

There is a problem with the way that the TWL site computes who
won and who lost by the scores. It seems to total up the caps from all rounds and gives the win to the team with the most total caps. This works in most cases but not all.

Here is an example where it works:
First Round: Team A: 2 Team B: 4
Second Round: Team A: 5 Team B: 3
Third Round: Team A: 1 Team B: 2
-------------------------------------
Total Caps: Team A: 8 Team B: 9

In this example team B won two out of the three rounds and had a higher total score

Here is an example where it doesn't:
First Round: Team A: 10 Team B: 1
Second Round: Team A: 1 Team B: 2
Third Round: Team A: 1 Team B: 2
-------------------------------------
Total Caps Team A: 12 Team B: 5

As you can see, in the second example team B won 2 of the three rounds but has a lower total score

If you entered the numbers from the second example into the TWL score reporting page it would show team B as having lost.

We told them that at the beginning of the season. I don't think the TWL folks who do the backend programming or whatever, were able to get to it (or cared).

I've had to fudge the scores so that it would report us as winning before. Not sure if that was the best idea or not, but it was easier then reporting the correct scores then getting an admin to go back and change it to give us the win.

G6 has to play AI regardless of the scores problems, as you can see in Low Ki's original playoffs post when he says:

"SEX will play AI and PIT will play G6 on Thursday, with the winners agreeing to a match day and time sometime BEFORE NEXT MONDAY. "

talk about beating a dead horse...

I'm just telling Mr_Sentry that the scoreboard has nothing to do with him having to play AI. Anyways, AI won last night.
