IRC Problems

Since pgp is having problems currently, please remember that #teamwarfare is quite the hip spot on gamesnet. If you need to get in contact with your opponents tonight or an admin, please feel free to jump on gamesnet.

Not like ETG is the home of urban terror or anything...

Well, lots of teams have moved to pgp (the smart ones anwyay ). Yeah, I know lots of people are still on etg, but I just wanted to provide another option for those that are on pgp primarily.

why is pgp superior to etg? It's all the same to me.

I have to agree somewhat with Blud. I idle in channels on both networks and I find that I timeout on PGP much more than ETG.

back before ur time etg kept going down day after day cause they had too many users so alot of ut guys went pgpn... now they both suck.

I think enough teams have moved over to pgpn that it's suffering some of the overloading that always hosed etg. And DOSing doesn't help. Still, I think people must have short memories if they don't remember how ridiculous it was over on etg about a year and a half ago.

I've always found the pgpn admins to be infinitely more available and helpful than the etg admins. I don't know a darn thing about gamesnet.

I really like pgp's (gamesurge's) chanserv stuff.

Yeah, they have a really nice setup. Unfortunately, the pgpn people turned off !invite recently. Which isn't much by itself but it hints at nearly infinite admin pointy-headedness in the future. Hope I'm wrong about that.
