Goodbye TWL BF2 2v2 Armor Ladder

I came here a few years after all the fun began in 2v2 Armor Ladder but I manage to play some great fun 1v1 Tank Ladder and 2v2 Armor Ladder matches. Thanks to =KA= Deacon for showing me the 1 shot 1 kill tank shot. Thanks to [16th] GhostMerc for showing me to switch seats instead of jumping out my tank and exposing my position to hear the enemy tank location. Thanks to -=AvA=- DrDjo for playing 1v1 Tank matches whenever, however and whatever time or day. Thanks to all my 2v2 armor partners that I do not know in real life that was there for me when I was desperate for rank 1 on the 2v2 armor ladder. Armor Demolition's match history record is 50-43.

This is a sad, sad day. 2v2 armor will never be the same.

i believe this is the end of bf2 ladders since laser was the only person really trying to keep them active RIP BF2 =(

WOW, this is too bad and sad. I remember SOE dominated the ladder for a long time. We quit the ladder because no one would keep match appointments scheduled way back when...

Sure miss Bert and Ernie. We always had a hoot.

If a few more good teams rejoin or join the ladder and keep their match appointments I will definitely put Armor Demolition back on the ladder. Team Puffer Fish (No Mercy-B3rt06) is always fun to play with put they have limited playing time and my partners I had also have limited playing time. If I can find a partner with at least 2 hours availability every night (plenty for a 2v2 armor match) that will dedicate their 2 hours per night to BF2 armor ladder then I'm ready to roll.

Well looks like it isn't dead yet... a challenge for the TOP had been made. Interesting....

B.T.W... is LT still hanging around these days.. Forgive me for this.. he is a real JERK.. with a captital (J). Was a TWL admin and then joined a team.. He horked us out of a match for #1.. A REAL JERK.

LT isn't a TWL 2v2 armor ladder admin anymore. I haven't seen him post anyting in forums.

Dixiegirl does [69thSF] have any BF2 2v2 armor ladder interest remaining in them now days?

I never lost interest in any competition, however we are few and far between these days and the ones left is eat up with BC2. My only decent armor partner went awol about a year ago. I'd be happy to set back up a TWL armor config'ed server again if I had mutual interest at least from one.

May take a Congressional Act but let me do some scouting.

ok, sounds good Dixiegirl. I hope to see [69thSF] back in competition. When I joined TWL [69thSF] was on the ladder but I never got the chance to play a match with you guys and girls. =KZN=, [69thSF] and some other teams I did not get to play with before they quit the 2v2 armor ladder.

I seen a =KZN= member in a server a while back and he/she said he/she will ask their teammates about rejoining the TWL 2v2 armor ladder. I guess it didn't work out because they aren't on the ladder.

Dixiegirl if you cannot find a mutual armor partner to play with I am looking for a 1st stringer since my 2 partners are busy now days. Add me to xfire if you are interested, my xfire is "kensantos1970". Ghost Tankers is not a clan just a team made of players from different clans or whatever to have fun in armor competition. Don't worry about servers or captain duties, just show up and destroy our opponent. I will take care of the rest.
