5v5 Inf Ladder 'Pruning'

Historical capture recovered from the Wayback Machine · captured 2007-01-13 · 3 posts
As a general, friendly reminder to teams on the 5v5 Infantry ladder:

-The minimum roster requirement to be able to challenge and play matches is 4 people. At the time this post was made, exactly 100 out of the 136 teams signed up on the ladder meet this requirement.

-As the ladder is opening tomorrow (well, today really if you want to get technical), teams who do not currently meet this requirement will be moved to the bottom of the ladder as to prevent teams from jumping rungs on teams that can't challenge or even legally play matches yet. During this shift, the order in which teams signed up (which thus far has obviously determined rungs) will be preserved in relation to the other teams that are also being shifted (meaning the top ranked team that does not meet requirements will be moved to #101, and so forth). Once a 'shifted' team meets the roster requirement, they will be moved back up to the rung directly below the lowest ranked team in compliance.

-Teams have two weeks after a founder signs a team up on a ladder to meet the roster requirement before the team is removed. This policy will be enforced on this ladder starting July 23.

Again, I'm really looking forward to the start of this competition. As always, stay tuned and check in on the forums regularly for any developments, as there will likely be some changes for this competition in the near future.

Thanks,

Good job Schetter.

Now I just need Warsaw to get a few more signed up.

Ladder has been 'shifted' again to reflect the current roster status.

Two-week roster size compliance rule will still be enforced starting July 23.
