SWAT 4 - Euro ladder?

Is there one? or one in the making? If not how do we go about trying to get one?

Note - i did look for a search function before i posted, but if there is one here, i couldn't find it.

If the interest is there, we will open it up. Interest = 20+ teams.

So how do we garner this "interest"?

Can we not get a ladder signup thing and then see if we get 20 teams? or is that a lot of work to just to "see".

Imho, i dont think you'll have a problem getting 20, as the game is immensley popular over here, but who knows i guess.

What I would suggest is starting by having players from euro teams post here that they are interested to show the interest is there. Also, as I have been away for a while, you might try #twl_swat on gamesurge or #twl_swat on quakenet(not sure if twl has this channel). Also it might not be a bad Idea to have team leaders email the admins for the game, found here http://www.teamwarfare.com/staff.asp?StaffGroupID=55, and express interest in TWL running Euro ladders.

Thanks for advice, will see what i can round up.

Was hoping TWL could get one going before Clanbase (im not a fan of that system) so everyone doesn't go there, but doesn't look like that will happen.

I know of atleast 4 other euro teams interrested in playing!
But you will only get these teams lined up if you actually make the ladder to be optically seen here on TWL.

That was the case with the css euroladder, now we have about 60 teams on it!

So please start the swat euroladder and then you will see what kind of interrest there is!

Admins wont be a problem, i think there will be more than enough applications!

I know of at least 3 definites, and about 10 who "will join when it's up" kinda teams.

Which game play option would they want the most and what size do you think is most popular for euro teams???

If you can get that settled down Mazz I would say talk to Red Merc in IRC and see if he can at least get a general ladder set up for sign ups to see what kind of interest there is. He already has one Euro staff member in v0rtex, assuming he is still around as I am 2 1/2 months out of the loop.

I personnaly think VIP would be the best, or Barricaded Suspects - No Respawn as it also leads to some very intense games.

Oh and 5 v 5 is the best imho, but again if others think otherwise im easy.

I know here at Elite Warfare we have quite a few members in our European Division (About 4 or so) that I believe would be interested in a Europe Ladder.

Ok that was pretty gay, but seriously I support a European ladder, we've already turned down quite a few European members because we haven't seen one here.

I talked to Red Merc about this over the weekend and he said they are in the works. I think the admins would like to announce something soon but nothing is finalized just yet.
