poll for swat community

I was just wondering how the community feels about handling tie rounds in swat 4 matches.

I have always thought the only fair way to handle a tie round in swat situation was to consider it a null round.(null=not counting at all) A tie is exactly that, a tie, no one wins so in no way should this be held against either team. We have always played our matches, best of ten won rounds, not counting ties at all..

I am just trying to get some feedback from the rest of you guys. so how you feel?

personally, I kinda like it how the rules are now. Play 10 rounds, top score wins, tiebreaker for a 5-5 only. Playing til there are 10 total rounds won promotes to much campage. Thats just my 2 cents.

Wouldnt it be just the oppisite? If all we have to do is win 1 and tie nine dosent that promote the campage in the garage? just win one and let the time run out on the rest? Dosent sound very fair to me but thanx for the 2 cents man. next time send 50 so i can get a soda..lol jking

no, it promotes campage of the next 9, but the other team will take more risks, so it balances. However, if your in a tight spot (stuck in the basement, cant get to the roof..) then you stay there to draw out the round... and who knows how many times you can do that in a match....

Like your whole officer side?

ya but does giving up fair play so people dont camp right? Because using a tie round against some one is not fair. neither team won so why should the round be counted at all?

ok first of all sean..uncalled for...second...you guys kept us contained in the basement..so we stayed there till we broke through. simple as that..

using a tie round against someone? its not a point for either side... and how is playing according to the rules not fair play...

I was going to go along with this whole "poll" thing,and just add my opinion in on a whole "hypothetical" basis, but you want to get specific, so screw it. TEC why don't you just come out and say it, you were all up on k3 nutsack, and even now you can't seem to get your toungue off their balls, they obviously are beatable, and you are NOT the only 2 teams with any skill arround here. We played the match fair, to the rules, and won. (and to a GIRL! omg)
