So will you buy SWAT 4?

Sup guys,

I think now that everyboyd had a chance to play this whats your oppinion on this game? Will you be buying this game when it comes out? I think its a great game and has allot of potential but two things are keeping me from buying this,

1. Speed at you move (needs about 10% increase)
2. Aiming seems a bit messed up

If these two thing get fixed in the final game i will buy the game.

I don't think speed will be increased. I haven't noticed a problem with aiming but I think thats cause I die to fast but I will be buying it for sure.

I was buying it before I even beta tested it in Nov.

Ok i see what guys think about the uniforms? Most of the time i can tell them appart but in the dark areas its a bit hard and sometimes i just open freandly fire and get my teamate killed or injured, which i am not proud off, and i have notice the same happening to me too.

I really haven't had too may problems. The slower pace encourages me to check the target a bit longer before opening fire if I'm not 100 percent. But I guess maybe once competition starts and I start caring if I die my trigger finger might bcome more itchy :-) . But anyways the uniforms are pretty distinct. I wonder if they will stay the same in every situation in the final release, or be like Ravenshield where there are variations.

as far as i know the unis are gonna be the same...and brutus this game forces you to check ur targets...in darker areas it is harder..BUUTTTT thats why we have flashlights on our weapons...if im unsure...then i flash the target...and if he doesnt look like my team...then i shoot...

use this rule..if ur on swat...and the guy ur looking at looks black...dont shoot...otherwise Shoot...and vice versa for Suspect

Yeah i have folowed your tip and i have been using the flashlight and its been much better for me no freandly casultys anymore, although i still get killed by my teammates.

see told u it works...yeah that tks are just annoying...but cant be avoided..still happens in RVS...jus tless (hopefully) when ur on a team...that reminds me.ive gotta start lookin for a SWAT 4 team...lol..i dont wanna miss out

Careful the flashlight gives you away too. I only use it when needed, and careful not to give my position up.

well duh..lol...i only use it as a quick flash..on for 1 sec then right off...just enough for me to see what unis

Yah me too i use it only in the dark areas off the map for example when i am in the garage or in one of those office rooms, it comes in handy but when i am in more lighted area i can see the enemy fine

just be careful when using it..there is a bug..that if u are too close to a wall..the flashlight will shine through..giving ur position away...happened to me before...its the columns when u are on the 2nd floor..sux..but u learn where not to use it

for one thing if you stil have your game set at default brightness thats pretty dumb.

I have mine turned up so basically the only dark places are under stairs. It helps with the tks and hell, its even easier on the eyes in most cases.

I'm more excited about the competition this game, or more specifically, TWL is going to offer my team when this game comes out. We joined TWL about halfway through RvS, right when it was booming, and I've been missing that era ever since patch 1.sumthin. I hope we have just as great a community with this game as we had with Ravenshield.

Yeah i have noticed that too, it seems that allot of the swat comunity the hardcore fans are into co op, i think co op is big in SWAT since it lets you make your own missions and stuff.

Yea I made a comment in their forum about co-op and how they seemed closed to other game play and the anger it stirred up was amazing.

I will say that they have softened in the last month and that they are much more tolerant. People are afraid that what they loved about one game will be missing in the new game. I'm always just looking for new game play so I look forward to all types.

I hope they will release a good MP system, so Swat 4 will become a good competiton game, and the Co-op will perhaps make the game live a little longer.

Can't wait till this comes out.....been waiting a long time for a new Swat

I had absolutely no plans on buying it, had no intentions of ever trying it, but agent is very persistant (much )so I d/l'd the demo and I love it, now I am working on the rest of FWF.

Me too the first two times I tried it. Now I play everything else plays too fast. I don't play SWAT all the time I Play CS, RvS and BF and because SWAT is so deliberate and yes a little slow, I see things in the other games better and play them better.

I'll surely be buying this game. I haven't played such a great tactical game since Operation Flashpoint. Besides, this is only a beta. Let's hope they are able to fix what bugs are present without delaying the game past april 5th.

My birthday is April 15 so I will be getting it. I really enjoyed SWAT 3 which is one of the reasons.
