Thats kind of what I am hoping for. I knowt he game isn't scheduled for full retail until the begining of April but the demo for RvS came out sometime in November 02 and retail didn't come out until the end of Febuary which is nearly four months. Four months from realease of this, if they don't push it back, would be early January. I think if they were to put out an open demo sometime in January we could set up ladders and maybe even run a tournament that could get a lot of players interested in this game before it hits the stores.

sometimes theres mybee 9 people on 1 server and sometimes there no one playing.
whats the deal.
all these private keys they give out and no one plays it and theres so many others who want to play but cant cause they dont have a key...

where is everyone

well u have to understand that a lot of players are playing WoW and other games...to play a beta that only has 1 or 2 maps over and over (or however many maps) can get to people...just be patient..IF YOU PLAY IT...THEY WILL COME

Nothing is finalized yet, but there is a good possibility of a much broader demo/beta in the next month or two.

I play. Hehe. I usually run the [VOWS] server (10 Man Server)

I say there will probably be a good chance of a open beta/demo in Feb/March area. Since it is VU I got the Tribes Vengence Open Beta around a month or so before the retail release. Yeah the next beta will probably knock the teeth in on the current one.

I also think the problem is that people have to host servers themselves. For example db was hosting a game the other night and when we got above 6-7 people it really started to lag hard and other like myself can't get the server to run properly.

I can run a 10 man server fine off my pc. No lag and others said they weren't laggin. It will be much better though when we get dedicated servers.

Hehe already planned out for my clan we are getting:
2- Co-op servers (5 men per server)
2- VIP (16 men per server)
1- TDM (16 men server)
