Well, its been a great season. I want to congratulate all the teams on their performances. This has been the closest and most evenly matched season of BF1942 that we have had here at TWL. I hope all the teams return next season for a return performance.

Best way to figure out the tie between the teams?

I don't want to start a big fight but POE beat Fear head to head.

I don't understand why PoE is ahead of us, since we have equal points but we have a better rounds won/lost than them, which according to the rules is what breaks a tie after head-to-head (since we didn't play them)... we're 12-6, they are 10-9 in rounds won/lost, yet we are below them.. Maybe i'm missing something, but could someone explain it to me then?

You were bumped from the 3 reserved spots in your divsion by 6 gun. That put you in the wildcard pool. POE owned the tiebreaker in the tiebreak pool over Fear QC. Therefore, POE claimed a wildcard spot. Which leaves you and Fear with identical records from different divsions to determine the last wildcard spot.

As far as your RW go, they are wrong atm. Those are truly only accurate within division tiebreakers. They do not translate well across divisions. Since a head to head is higher on the list of tiebreakers, and since it did not exist in this case, I think it is best the 2 teams after the last spot should settle it on the battlefield and not in the forums. If you wanted to get technical, I could have also went to strength of schedule to determine this position. Do we really want to start that flame war?

Who will be determined as the "home" team for these matches?

After looking through some team histories, I noticed the CIA won 8 regular season matches. But they have only been credited with 7 of them. Maybe an admin could check into this, since it will affect the top seeding for the American Conference.

Is that date of 8/26 flexible at all Icred? I joined the Das roster during week 7, but not before the 26th (signed up on the 29th). I was on vacation prior to signing up for a couple of weeks and unfortunately forgot to sign up before leaving. No lie! I'll show you my plane reservations if you want .

We had two others sign up as well and were under the impression from the rules that as long as they were in during that week that they would be ok for the playoffs. Both of them signed up on the 27th.

We haven't come from any other clan competing here so it's not like we're jumping from one to another for the playoffs or anything.

Possible to play in playoffs or no?

If I remember correctly, Suzuka, CIA dropped from TWL 8v8 for a week over some misunderstanding during a dispute with the admins.

Suzuka, there was a dispute between CIA and NA that led to a rather large mess. If you're totally bored you can read up on it here. The end result was that the match no longer counts toward our record in the league, nor NA's record.

/me grumbles...
