You're missing the point...there's nothing to fix. The hangar repairing tanks is not a bug, it's a tactical consideration, and I can assure you it's difficult to stay alive even inside the hangar with the whole team after you. If someone manages to stay alive in that hangar and cause enough damage and kill enough people for you to call him "gay," then he can sure as hell own you on any other part of the battlefield.
Now, that's not me, as I can't hangar camp for shit. I just like jacking tanks and making my tankers happy by keeping their planes grounded.
I think you are missing the point a little The 'theory' behind repair pads, and hangar repairing, is to simulate a repair station as it existed in bf1942, ie, the engineering corps. Imagine little green men rushing out to repair your vehicle as you sit on the pad/hanger. Now, imagine those little green men repairing an ENEMIES vehicle, as their raping your base. Now that sounds a little silly.
Vehicle repairs should NOT work in enemy hangars/repair pads. If it was intended to be that way, then it was a bad decision. This is why EA/DICE is 'fixing' it (they themselves use the term 'fix' in the 1.4 announcements).
You cant be serious if you think its harder to sit in a hangar, then it would be to roll through their base raping them. Any skilless noob can sit in a hangar and spam away
