Revived Interest

Let's face it: there aren't any good games coming out for the next 5 years. Period. At least not competitively.

This tournament has revived more interest in this game than it has seen in the past 5 years. Like CS:S, it still thrives. In Europe, this game is very much alive. In the states - it is not.

Ladders should be created to revive interest. Plenty of new teams are there. They just need a place.

2v2 Tank & air ladders would help immensely.
8v8 conquest and/or CTF would help as well. Small teams.

Just a thought.. 5v5 infantry as well.

I'm fairly certain that it's older than '07. My guess is probably mid 2005. I remember that game of stalin...

That SS is def older than '07 Mal which would have put you at pre-teen at the time. =p

I got back on the other day and pubbed a few hours in Moongamers. First time I've played '42 that long in a while. Still a great game but I only run into a couple old names now. =[
